In order to better understand the professions in design and visual conception, the school offers a professional lexicon on the site: www.école-intuit-lab.com, in the section: “Field of work/Professions”

Benjamin Wrobel
Art Director, Agence Publicis
Graduated 2004
The training I received in my three years here introduced me to all the tools and jobs involved in graphic design.
This cross-disciplinary foundation is invaluable in the job that I do and enabled me to be fully operational right away in an environment where you always have to be responsive and flexible.

Simon Frankart
Art Director, Draftfcb
Graduated 2004
The work experience that I did at various points throughout my period of training led me to specialize in animation and multimedia.
Today, I can consider myself a true professional thanks to the solid foundations that I was able to acquire in graphic design, and especially thanks to the passion for what I do passed onto me by my teachers.

Amélie Jammet
Art Director, Carré Noir
Graduated 2007
What I got out of the école intuit.lab course was not just technical knowledge, but also good advice from my teachers.
They are mostly working professionals themselves and help us to be organized in the way we work by introducing us to a very professional approach that closely fits with what customers expect.
We learn from gaining experience in the field and it is a very rewarding process.
Our packaging teacher was able to convey an intriguing vision of what the profession is like and I learnt an enormous amount from the really engaging classes.

école intuit.lab owes the very good reputation that it has earned in the world of graphic design to the fact that it knows how to train creative professionals who are well-adapted to the world of work. Whilst cultivating what is special about each student, intuit.lab also helps its students to learn a methodical and thorough approach and gain a firm grasp of the creative process.
Thinking about, analyzing and developing knowledge of the graphic process, doing presentation exercises and training courses are all important components which enable graduates to easily move into professional life.
It is a learning process that is above all based on exchange: With people involved in the world of design, at workshops, and through exchanges with other universities which enable us to extend our awareness of other cultures and graphic codes.
Intuit.lab is first and foremost a school with a very human feel, not only in terms of its size but also in terms of the mutual respect between students and teachers, who never cease to surprise each other, working together to give rise to new and fresh ideas.
It is in my view a unique educational experience, as it gives you the chance to meet and establish firm links with those active in the profession, which has meant it has been possible for most of the graduates from my year to find a job in the world of design straight out of school.
The teaching I received is something that I will always remember fondly and that will always be an essential element in my work as a Freelance Graphic Designer.

It was thanks to école intuit.lab that we first met up in our first year. We then started to work together on all the projects that we could work together on as a team.
That enabled us to become ever more efficient at working together as a duo and to test out in what ways we were compatible. This was followed by the work placements that we both did at major agencies: Saatchi & Saatchi and Betc Euro RSCG where we learned how to work within a major structure and to build networks in the world of advertising. In our third year, we decided to enrol for the advertising option, which enabled us to learn the basics in art direction and design.
The school allowed us to take advantage of a training course that was both broad in scope and very cross-disciplinary, covering video, web, graphic design, workshops and of course advertising.
We prepared our portfolio together and our team was operational right away.
We had a strong visual identity and everything was branded from A to Z.
We then targeted the creative agencies that we were interested in working with: hot shops such as Marcel, Leg or La Chose.
We were both recruited after a work placement of two months at La Chose and we have just completed our first International fashion campaign.

The course that I did at école intuit.lab already seems something of the distant past. Time flies and it's "been four years already". But the memories come flooding back when you meet one of your former teachers, a fellow student or the head of the school at a vernissage or when working on a project. Then it's a real pleasure to remember the time we spent back then and it makes me feel proud to have succeeded.
My four years at the school were very rich in terms of the encounters I had with the teaching staff who are themselves professionals for the most part and, looking back, I now realize what a special opportunity that was.
Each year was important in its own way; the sketching classes in museums, the classes on perspective, in photography and typography, as well as the workshops, working as a team and so on.
I could go on forever.
But, in short, today all those things are of use to me in my day-to-day work and nothing has changed all that much, except perhaps for the additional notion of "profitability". On a daily basis, whatever happens, I am always trying to seek out the same pleasure in creation as I did back at school.
The work that I do at L.O.V.E is very closely related to what I learned at school and for that alone I would like to thank all the teaching staff and all those I encountered on work experience … for having told it like it is.

MASTERS Graduated 2007
> Pauline HARDY, 23, Junior Art Director at Parties Prenantes (corporate communications)
I have very fond memories of the Masters course. It really taught me how to work in a team on real, specific briefs, and how to manage my time. With what I know now, I can vouch for the fact that the setup is just like a proper agency. It also gives you a real insight into the everyday reality of the business. To such an extent that it is sometimes hard to summon up the right motivation when it comes to working on real projects.
> Tan Juan JI, Freelance Junior Art Director in Senzen
The Masters is when the intuit.lab training really comes into its own: it's all about taking an intuitive approach, and learning from your successes as well as your failures, just like in real life. The thing that really made an impression on me was learning about the roles of different people in a team and in an agency, and how to manage tensions and differences of opinion between team members. You learn a lot about yourself. The teachers and visitors, some of whom are from other countries, really open up your horizons and give you an international, multicultural perspective. They also give you advice and teach you how to network. My biggest problem came from my lack of organization and method that were both essential to finalize my major end-of-course project.
